RE-IMAGINE, RE-NEGOTIATE,
RE-ENGAGE, RE-OPEN
ALAS
is hosting a series of webinars for ten (10) Superintendents to plan the reopening of schools with equity at the forefront of planning. Our intention is to support Superintendents in addressing CDC guidelines, State playbooks and county or local plans to create a collaborative approach with a singular equity focus. We have scoured the nations playbooks, guidelines and plans.
Superintendents of districts with 25,000 students or less will be provided support in the process
. This open-ended series is not bound by seat-time. When you are complete with your plan, you are complete with the series.
Superintendents will be paired by like-sized districts to work through the Logic Model process with facilitators from the U.S. Department of Education and Education Elements. The rationale of the 25,000 student population or less, is due in part to assist smaller districts which may have limited resources. During a time of information overload, we are providing support to use the Logic Model process, and sort through all of the incoming information and with an intentional focus to issues of equity first and foremost.
During the four interactive webinars you will have an opportunity to develop a thorough outline with specific areas with which to collaborate with your staff and communities, communication points for your Board, Staff and families, and steps on how to implement your plan with safety and equity at the forethought of decision-making.
